I have tried to load with LSPDFR and Normally and Rage hook doesn't work it crashes on loading story does anyone know how to fix this

The post is a little confusing to me. Did RPH crash on just the loading story mode?

 

Getting this aswell. It's crashing before I spawn in storymode. Not sure what is causing it either.

I had this problem where it would say "Loading Story Mode and RAGE Plugin Hook" and it would just crash. The way i fixed it was by uninstalling LSPDFR using the uninstaller which in turn uninstalls RPH and then i re installed LSPDFR and then  installed the latest version of RPH and it worked.

rph .49 has issues with lspdfr, that's gonna be your problem

The plugins don't work on 0.49. That's why it's crashing

Yeah v49 is a really bad build for LSPDFR. It's just going to take another week or two to work out all of the kinks. RIP v47 :'(

that doesn't seem to be the problem for me either .48 and .49 load fine for me I go to the story mod fine but the moment I load my mods folder it crashs on loading I take out that folder it loads into story mod like it should I then put it back in and crashs loading story I then remove my add'ed police cars pack by Captain14 and I load into story mod just fine once again so for some reason Captain14 car packs don't seem to like the lastest update for some reason from what I have come across.

Sounds like the problem is with something in the update.rpf file. Try downloading this gameconfig file and installing it with OpenIV. I had the same issue where my vehicle mod packs were causing a crash for my game and once I updated the gameconfig file it worked fine. GTA is really picky about the number of cars it has in its registry it seems.

Funny enough I run that with RDE 2.2.1

Is that pretty much the same as police and crime rebalanced?

yes thxs that did the job but yea imam have to take out a couple mods until there updated such as siren mastery and im sure a couple of the others too

Sweet! Glad I could help! A lot of the "must-have" mods for LSPDFR are by Albo1125, which I have to admit does fantastic work and I have all of his mods, and he is currently working on updating his albo1125common file that all of them use. He said it should be another day or so before they are all updated and ready to work again.

ok cool thxs for the update on albo1125 and yea I have most of his mods too if not all of them myself and most of the ones jeff has in his lspdfr vidoes on youtube and what not that he use's and no problem thxs for the help

Typically from my experience crashing while loading story mode with RPH indicates an issue with the update.rpf file. I would recommend taking your update.rpf file out of the GTA V folder and putting it somewhere like on your desktop and then going through steam to verify local files that way you can get a clean version of the update.rpf and try running the game that way. If it loads up perfectly fine with a fresh update.rpf file then that's going to be what the problem is. Most of the time it's a vehicle modification that's the culprit so you can try downloading this file when you put in your old update.rpf and see if that works.
