Secret club

Featured Replies

Is there some secret club which I haven't been invited to yet where people release mods that aren't for the public or is it that a lot of people sell stuff on other sites ?

On many websites I see fire truck and police car screenshots which I Google and they aren't anywhere for download in public which sucks

So where does it all go down? Can someone invite me? Thanks!

There is no "secret club" on here. Just like in real life, people on here make friends who they feel comfortable with testing their cars or trucks. Anything you see in the gallery is going to be released at some point, but YouTube and the Forum posts are fair game.

My suggestion is that you stick to publicly released models (Which is what I do unless I'm beta testing or something). Buying a model or using private models and posting everywhere about said model is exactly what annoys people on this site.

I think you misunderstood the post.

I know that people share amongst their friends, but I want to show that it's really childish and a secret club thing.

That's what exactly I am talking about  (the second half, people posting their stuff everywhere and not releasing it; just shoving it in our faces) but wont let us be part of their secret club.

It's not childish, some people pay for the models and don't want them released publicly. Models aren't cheap and some if not most are bought for clans or other kinds of public use. There are also lots of people who don't like releasing stuff due to credits and other things, but don't mind sharing with friends etc..

Site guidelines ban showing off models you never intend to release on LCPDFR.com. If you see images like that, feel free to report them. Keep in mind that not every image with an unreleased car is going to get removed; we do exercise judgment when deciding if an image is taunting the community or not (and we obviously have no authority over what people put on other sites). But modders aren't going to release everything they make to the public. There are a variety of reasons for this, but it boils down to "because they don't feel like it." Trying to make them feel childish isn't going to change any minds.
