Is there a siren setting for all blue lights?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've downloaded a few cars running all blue set ups, and was just curious if any of the light settings cater to this set up.  I've seen some models in the past say "change siren setting to x".

Thanks

car lights are part of the texture dictionary, so if the texture dictionary supports it, then yes

You have to have a light setup in carcols.ymt that changes all the coronas to blue or white... I recommend the one BxBugs123 included in his Slicktop CVPI.

Damnit, was afraid that may be an answer.  I already have a custom carcols installed that I'm quite fond of.  Kinda wish there was a way for modders to just change the coronas on the car themselves.

Most cars come with an option to change the red half of the bar to a blue bar with a texture replacement.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

If the car doesn't use coronas, yes. If they use coronas, you have to have a sirensetting that the coronas won't bleed through the texture.

Arariel, you don't have to replace the entire carcols.ymt. You can simply edit your existing patterns and change the value of the coronas to be blue instead of red. Head here for more info.

Thank you, I may try it.  Do you know what type of color codes that file uses?  For example it says it uses

0xFFFF0300

Where would I find the color for blue?
