xAzDKr reacted to flwpheonix in Flwpheonix's parts and cars WIPSo.....I kinda got burned out on the Spartan, so I changed gears until I can get the wind back to finish it. Figured it was time to show what I have been working on with @jcpse and @xAzDKr. This is the Hillsborough County Sheriffs. My goal is to make a complete pack. These cars will feature a complete hybrid ELS/Carcols system like what I showcased with the Spartan. This means that the carcols DO NOT control the flash patters rather ELS does. All the carcols provides is the enviromental lighting. This allowed me to have each lighthead on the Liberty produce its' own light. The DUI Tahoe features this too but I ran out of sirens to use, so I had to improvise with some ELS provided enviromental light. Doing it this way too, allowed me to have the light follow what it was attached to...For example the lighting on the mirror beams on the Tahoe, will actually move with the door. Same goes with the Outer Edge lighting. If you open the trunk on the Tahoe the lights will shine up, and not stay shining backwards.
Standard CVPI=90% Done
Charger=80% Done
DUI Tahoe=80% Done
K-9 Tahoe=0% Done
Slicktop CVPI=15% Done
Unmarked CVPI=10% Done

xAzDKr got a reaction from Slendis in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol PackIrma update from a Tampa EMT,
Evacuations of special needs folks was a painstaking process, but it got done. I put in many hours before storm helping with evacuations on my company's ambulance and non-medical transport vehicles, as did many of my coworkers who did even more than I. I stayed home during the storm and remain on-call. Tampa didn't get things as bad as Central Florida and South Florida and I am currently waiting for further information as far as any volunteer or mutual aid work we may be rendering to surrounding areas. Hope all is well with everyone else.

xAzDKr reacted to TaylorSwift in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol PackHa, this is actually quite funny, I'm pretty sure I was the one to correct you in the comments of Trooper Steve's post! Small world.
I can only assume the Tahoe is running a similar setup to the 16 FPIU Slicktop unit in the back, either that or a setup similar to the old tahoes, I'm gonna go with the colored single bar though.
As for all the variants of the chargers, I'll go ahead and make the few that I enjoy, I've already finished the 2017 chargers, which have been pictured previously, but the 15/16 chargers have quite a few different ones i'd like to take a shot at.

xAzDKr reacted to Corey Gillet in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol Pack(EDIT TO PREVIOUS POST: My apologies for the typos: substitute all my text regarding the previous generation Code 3 "Javelin" L.E.D. light bar for the current generation Code 3 "Javelin" L.E.D. lightbar, and substitute all my text regarding the current generation Code 3 "Javelin" L.E.D. light bar for the Code 3 "RX 2700CC" L.E.D. light bar. Once again my apologies for the typo which isn't correctable because after a certain amount of time the edit feature becomes disabled by the site, I'll try to have the post removed but my apologies if it's still up bearing typoed information)

Massachusetts Native here. I have a huge passion and liking to not only the Mass. State Police fleet, but the Florida Highway Patrol's fleet as well. Keep your eyes peeled for possible '17 Dodge Charger Pursuits rolling around with custom Code 3 "Pursuit" L.E.D. light bars 😉

Also I may live over thousand miles away but I do notice all the "odd-end-out" cruisers that never received the yellow and red chevron reflective decals, for what ever reason, are being outfitted with the black chevron reflective decals. Which originally were only ment to be specific to the 2017 order batch.

Not all of the initial batch of '17 Dodge Charger Pursuits received the Code 3 "RX 2700CC" L.E.D. lightbar. The initial purchases received the current generation Code 3 "Javelin" L.E.D. light bars and interestingly enough, the inverse happened, according to Trooper R. William of the Florida Highway Patrol, where some later 2016 Dodge Charger Pursuits received the Code 3 "RX 2700CC" L.E.D. light bars as test and evaluation platforms for the 2017 purchases. As we're all aware slicktops made a return with the 2017 order too. I've only seen the all blue frontal configuration which the '16 Ford P.I. Utilities have as well.

I'm not to sure as to what is happening with the rear facia of the F.H.P.'s 2017 Chevy Tahoe P.P.V.'s, but they are upfitted with Code 3 "RX 2700CC" L.E.D. light bars, and Westin push bumpers of 2 varieties.

Feel free to pick my brain, I have a lot of pictures collected from great people to offer if needed and I love learning more and more about State and Highway Patrol agencies across the nation 😎😉

xAzDKr got a reaction from nixxx621 in WaynePlaysGamez LSPDFR Videos (Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida Highway Patrol)Mostly because I have my microphone muted because I live in a dorm, don't want to get content ID on music playing in the background or I don't want to annoy my roommate.
Trying to find time where I can record and fully narrate.

xAzDKr got a reaction from TaylorSwift in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol PackLooks good, looking forward to release, however you end up doing it.
Down here in Troop C they mostly have the new single-stack lightbars but a couple of the old double stacks are left on CVPI's and 14 Chargers.
I think our last slicktop CVPI got retired, I miss that thing. It had a full line of red/blue in the interior of the front, hanging red/blue and orange deck directional back lights. Thing was a Christmas tree.

xAzDKr reacted to TaylorSwift in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol Pack2006 CVPI - 95%
2014 Charger 99%
2014 Tahoe 99%
2015 Charger is not completed for ELS at this time.
2017 Slicktop Charger 95%
2015 Tahoe - 100%
2015 K-9 Tahoe -100%
2010 Charger 100%
2011 Unmarked CVPI - a whopping 0%
2016 Ghost Charger - also a whopping 0% but it'll be a quick car.
At this point, there is absolutely no way to do it like them without manual pattern changes through ELS, and we've stopped that in most troops anyways it seems, now we're just using a mix of mostly blue or mostly red dual coloring, it doesn't seem to be on a time cycle any longer. At this point, my vehicles are somewhat accurate to this in flash patterns, but they are not dual mapped.
I plan on releasing individual packs at this point rather than a huge pack so I can release what I believe is ready to be released and eliminate the wait.
To be honest, as nice as the cars may seem I am still not entirely pleased with the outcome of some of them, which is why they still haven't been released.

xAzDKr got a reaction from TaylorSwift in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol PackThings are looking good! Looking forward to the pack. Do what you think is right, individual vehicles would be nice but I wouldn't be opposed to waiting for an entire pack.

xAzDKr reacted to TaylorSwift in 2016 Florida Highway Patrol PackDefinitely ELS compatible, working on that now.
Sorry for no updates, been working a lot.
