Hey guys. So I have been struggling for some time with this. So need to change DDS to PNGs for EM4. The online converters work about half the time. One day it works one day it doesn't. Now many of you will say use Paint.net, but I only use GIMP plain and simple. And GIMP doesn't take DDSs. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

I use this converter and it works every single time. 

That's where you're wrong, GIMP does in-fact support DDS, you just need this plugin. http://registry.gimp.org/node/70

That's the weird thing. Either all converters work or none do.

Any ideas on how to install? The tutorials I watch don't match anything I have :/

all i do is import them into a .ytd or .wtd in open iv then extract .png

Export the "dds.exe" file into your C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins folder. It should load it on startup and work instantly.
