These specs good for LSPDFR?

Featured Replies

Intel Quad Core i7

Nvidia GTX750 Ti 2GB

I am considering getting a gaming pc and as I am a ps4 gamer I don't really know much about pc specs and I'm just wondering are the specs good enough to run LSPDFR on high settings with a frame rate of at least 30fps? 30 seems to be the lowest people want to be at. Don't have the money for a €1000 - €1500 build so take it handy 😂😂

The guy selling it seems to be confident that it is "prepared for incoming games and games with best graphics engine" & "Incredible fast gaming pc with amazing performance"

settings won't be maxed but highish settings should get you around 30. But you really want to be getting more than 30 fps.,..

If I sent you a link to an eBay store would you mind taking a look for me and picking a suitable one? I hate to ask but I would be like a f***er if I bought a rig and couldn't do anything with it.

Look up the system requirements for GTA V. Match that with your buy.

As long as you can run GTA V, you can run LSPDFR.

I was looking through a few discussions and people were saying that they get a lower frame rate running lspdfr than when they just run gta v so they had to turn down settings to "medium-ish". Again I'm a total newb and wouldn't be familiar

I believe Cyan confirmed this is a known issue, in regards to performance drops. It's due to R* adding more and more anti-cheating methods in each update, causing significant impacts to performance when using script mods, like LSPDFR.

As I said though, I haven't experienced this myself but I guess it depends on the type of machine you use.

It may be dependent on the amount of RAM you have, or video RAM. That would be my guess, though I haven't experienced this myself.

I haven't experienced drops in FPS running LSPDFR either.  I think people that do either use highly detailed cars with 4K textures or a ton of poorly optimized plugins.

To answer OP's question, that rig will run GTA V but your video card and memory are potential bottlenecks.  I'd recommend 16GB of ram and at the very least a GTX 960 for decent performance.
