  • Good that you brought this up, because i've noticed this happening to me too, recently. I have to resort to the good ol' gunpoint arrests, unfortunately. Not sure which exact plugin or script is causi

  • This is rubbish lol. No callout or plugin can interfere with an internal mechanic like the stop ped feature.

  • I highly doubt this is the case. Most of the time, 'hold e' bugs are caused by LSPDFR itself.

I was having this problem and so I did a bunch of trial and error because I am able to stop people at first, but after playing a while the feature stopped working.  What I figured out was that accepting a callout with that "ANPR Hit" thing was making me unable to stop people on foot.  It's hit or miss whether the callout breaks it or not because one time it only took accepting two of those callouts, and another it took four of those callouts.  So if stopping someone works when you first go on duty then check to see if it stops working after accepting a few of those ANPR callouts.

Also I'm not sure if those callouts are from traffic policer or callouts V.

This is rubbish lol. No callout or plugin can interfere with an internal mechanic like the stop ped feature.

I don't know what to tell you, the stop function stops working after i accept the callout, I tried it three times and got the same result.  I think it stops working after the callout is cleaned though, like when you complete it, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

That's also why I asked if someone else could try it though because there's always a chance I'm wrong.

Sorry I keep editing this in-case you've already read it.  This is the last time though.  I was wrong about all of it.  This time I just played and didn't accept callouts and at some point the stop feature just stopped working.  So I'm back to having no clue why that's happening.  My apologies.

Once the stop feature stopped working I arrested a guy at gunpoint, then released him and now the stop feature works for everybody.

Im having the same issue with  my E button for arrests on the fly as well... Sometimes it works and most times it does not...

Hi guys, I experience absolutely the same problem. It's frustrating, because it may mess up pretty good RP callouts :(..

Have anybody found a way to fix it?

Btw. arresting a ped and releasing him afterwards helps, but it's just temporary and a bit annoying fix.

Hey people, I also have the same problem. After 1, yes 1, correct use the E-stop ped-function stops working. So I got tired of it (and I just felt like doing) and reinstalled my game from the bare bones, adding plugin by plugin, script by script to see what and if it was working. And what it did, for me, was the Arrest Manager plugin. From the moment I added that, the function stopped and when I had removed the plug-in, it worked again.

Now be careful. I don't say it IS Arrest Manager doing this. It just did it for me. So now I have a huge dilemma...playing without, what is probably the most useful LSPDFR tool, Arrest Manager or playing without the E-stop peds-function. Also if I don't have Arrest Manager, i can't get LSPDFR+ to work, which is another great tool. Sigh...

Peace out

Howdy fellow officers,

Apparently I was wrong, I wrote Albo about this problem and this is what he answered:

"Hold e bugs are caused solely by LSPDFR itself and plugins can not influence them. Please check out the support forums using the search tool. This is a known issue and can only be fixed by an LSPDFR update."

Still I wonder...

I know this is a old thread but I have this issue as well has anyone found a fix for this yet?

I have the issue as well, only installed LSPDFR two days ago. Not a very functional working modification it seems, I have other issues as well.

My friend and I both have this issue. What I have been doing is once it bugs out I quickly pull over and "reloadallplugins" then force duty. Its kind of a pain though.

Hope a fix gets released!
