So I'm having quite the issue. I've been away from GTA V for a while and now that I'm back, I installed all the mods (LSPDFR, addons, etc). I installed the new RPH (0.41.965.8352) and quickly found a problem. After clicking launch on the RPH settings tab, it brought up the RPH loading screen and then said "GTAVLauncher.exe has exited unexpectedly." Right as I was about to start troubleshooting my GTA directory, the normal (Unmodded) GTA V game launched. But I thought it said i had a problem with my LaunchGTAV.exe! Anyways, I reverted back to the older RPH (0.40.952.8173) and got the same problem. I even tried reinstalling RPH and the whole LSPDFR to no avail. Might be helpful to note, Albo's troubleshooter said that the file RPH was in was named wqrong but I didn't find any problems with the name, it's the default steam gives it.

 

Would this be something to post on the RPH forums or can you guys help me here?

@nicktrick92 Have you re-installed RPH 0.41? Also, did the game actually start to load or just RPH logo come up?

So I am using RPH .41 and the RPH got stuck on the logo, yet it still launched the game without RPH.

@Israelct @nicktrick92 Both of you verify game files then reinstall RPH.

I am also having the same issue and can't find a solution anywhere.

@ScottehBoyy After doing so, it now says "GTAVLauncher has failed to start", yet still starts the normal, unmodded GTA V. Since so many of us are having the issue, could it possibly be a bug?

7A. Right click on your GTAVLauncher.exe and select properties, go to the compatibility tab. Is there anything checked?

I have Dell xps 9550 15 inch it has good specs (enough to run gta in high/very high results).

when i installed the game it worked fine but i really wanted lspdfr on it.

I installed lspdfr, ragehookplugin, scripthook on it and when i start the game now you see the messages from ragehookplugin (ERROR: Expectedly Gtalauncher exited or something like that and then the game start 

when the game starts i hear the audio of the game but my screen is still blacked out when i start the game with the normal gta v launcher instead of the ragehookplugin it still does the same thing.... can anybody help me pls :'(

I found the problem.

If it says "exited unexpectedly". You are running steam. Turn steam off. Make sure your mod folder is in good order (no outdated files etc).

+script hook.

Remove all extra plugins then add slowly one by one. :P

Run it and bam.

This worked for the second time. Let me know if it worked. And please either quote me or "@" me.

I had that same problem now it will launch and just shut off and not even generate a crash report please help. Also I'm on the newest version of everything

Forgot to ad version

I managed to fix mine, if anyone still has this problem, by disabling one of my trainers such as Menyoo, Native Trainer or anything that allows you to control the game through a menu. It worked straight away. Please let me know if this helped.

Oh my lord guys, I finally got it working... THANK GOD! Here's my solution, please let me know if it works for you too!

1. Go to your main GTA V directoy where the RPH.exe is located

2. Right click on a blank space in the directory and click properties (Not on a file, but on a blank space

3. Uncheck the read-only mode and then click apply to all folders and subfolders

4. Wait and then launch the game using the RPH.exe

5. Enjoy and then cry because you've been trying to fix it for a year! lol
