Really?.....A beta? Either do it the right way and finish it or don't release it at all.

Tip of the day to non-modders.

if a modder offers beta tests of models they are either a dumbass or they're fucking with you

If you don't read my readme files don't inbox me asking for help

Well, yes, but there are some exceptions, I give people 'beta tests' when

1. They are a mate

and 2. I want their opinion design-wise, for example 'do you think this lightbar fits well?' or 'does this display correctly with your graphical mods?'

But in general, yeah.

The right way *is* to release a limited beta to uncover issues that may not be uncovered by your own testing.

You don't have to do it and you're not always going to find issues by doing it, but it's not inherently wrong.

EDIT: I don't think betas should go in the Downloads section, for what it's worth.

I've been making mods for a while now, I've done a few betas with a few people I know well acting as testers. Most of the time it ends with the testers making feature requests rather then actually reporting bugs and issues, like people asking for a particular antenna set up, special equipment or livery because 'That's what my LSA uses'.

My Queensland Ambulance skin is Complete YAY!!!

Now just waiting for the Model to make sure everything Lines up correctly.

We lost power here also. I was still awake at the time, and no power, meant no fans or aircons, which was truly heartbreaking, I must say.

Mate I just spent the last hours out chasing horses up a hill in the heat and humidity, my shirt is soaking in sweat.
