Nuke the badge on the shirt, just put the 'POLICE' on the actual badge also the epaulettes are black with a thin white chevron and the officers serial number. I did have some SAPOL uniforms I made (they weren't great) but I lost the files.

Thanks for the epaulette. SAPol uniform pics are hard to find, hah.

Removing either badge(/nameplate) leaves the shape of it there but happy to remove them anyway.

Any particular numbers you want on the epaulettes?

Something interesting about SAPOL is that only members of certain special branches (STAR group, major crash, motorbike traffic officers) can wear the baseball caps, the rest must wear the standard cap. Load bearing vest are now becoming more common and are warn at the discretion of the individual officer.

If you need more pics, PM me.

I honestly thought it was a clever strategic move knowing that not many other serious modders would choose the sex number, funny to learn it was actually an accident lmao.

"Most vehicles will not work ... will need to be changed ... because of the way ELS works with their *Extras*"

I forget the convo we had about ELS quite a few pages back, was ELS working with Extras how most (the aussie car devs, mainly) wanted it to work, or what was said is ELS not worth worrying about if it works with the extras? I forget, so I'm gonna try and back track to find the convo, but incase anyone remembers...

I think the consensus was that it wasn't worth worrying about - the current vehicles use the carcols and would basically need to have their lights redone for els.

Considering most Australian agencies only use one standard flash pattern it's probably not worth converting it all.

That said, it will probably depend on what features ELS has in the end.

I know that personally I'm not going to be jumping straight into it. I'll probably listen to other devs hanging around and see what their thoughts are, and will probably make a car to test it all out. One thing I do find good is how you can disable some extras depending on the vehicle, which hopefully means that we can still use vehicle extras normally without worrying about extra files for car mods.

in short, you will likely see some Aussie ELS vehicles at sone point, but don't expect it to fully take over what we already have

MFB, is that Victorian?

Yes it is. It's the main Fire Brigade for Melbourne.. City wide anyway, Out in the country it's generally CFA i believe (i'm not Victorian so i can't say for sure about the CFA, although MFB is definitely Victorian)

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Unlike NSW, there is a certain border where it is either MFB area or CFA area. Once you pass that line, it is CFA all the way until the state borders. Either service can assist the other, though.

There are parts of the outer metro areas of Melbourne that are purely CFA as the MFB/CFA line hasn't moved in years.

Wasn't an MFB truck shipped up to 001 after one of their trucks got sent off to the floods earlier this year? I remember seeing an MFB truck responding out of 001

The MFB siren is just so satisfying. There's a MFB station down the road from me and every time I hear it, it just gets to me. I don't know why.
