Anyone aware of any new or good callout packs? Get the same ones over and over and there getting a little boring now. Haha. TY

I haven't been able to play GTA 5 for about 4 weeks because of the game crashing and am a bit feed up because I haven't been able to make videos. And in some cases it doesn't even load. I have done everything under the sun to try to get it running but just wont work. I have never had GTA 5 be that unstable for me ever. I think my only option will have to be to uninstall the whole game. but then again it could be something so simple that I have over looked. Knowing my luck it probably is.

If it crashes before loading, it's probably an issue with one of the XML files If it started after editting things (installing a car, mod, etc.) then it'll be related to the file you changed putting things in. If it started after the patch, then it'll be something not updated correctly (I had issues a few months back because the new update.rpf hadn't been copied over to my mods folder yet)

 

If you're able to play for a while and then it crashes, I suspect it's related to memory or something to do with your computer not coping with the game (high poly cars, graphics, not enough RAM, etc.)

I use LSPDFR update checker. It's good because you can disable individual plugins without needing to delete them. That's how I figured out what was causing my game to constantly crash.

If you're on the Bikers DLC / Rage 47, you'll need to get a modified GameConfig.xml if you use even one addon car, or it'll crash on startup. There's a few on gta5-mods, cant recommend one as I've downgraded back to 46 personally cause 47 was nothing but trouble for me.

 

If you're on the old update, try renaming your mods folder to something random and see if it boots up then - if so, you've got a bad car / meta file in your mods folder thats breaking things.

Kyben, Anderson and Darkmyre thanks for your help much appreciated. I uninstalled GTA today and reinstalled it. I reinstalled all of the mods and plugins that I use for LSPDFR and most of them seem to run fine without game crashing so It could of been a corrupt meta file.

 

However I do get the random crash either at the beginning or 30 mins into playing so it could also be one of the issues Anderson stated. I can see now why you use 46 and not 47 Darkmyre lol. I never had that many issues then I did before update.

So it took me a bit but I finnally snapped a divvy. I missed three opportunities. This was taken at Buckley Street, Essendon. There was also some shifty sh** goin on near my house. First I heard two people segueing then went outside to see police searching in groups with the Dog Squad. The photo was literally taken at 12pm and it's pretty hard to see the details. I'll get a better pic when's i see one again.

Be very careful taking photos of police/police cars, especially in todays terrorism climate.  Recently a bloke was seen taking photos of the cars out the back of City Police Station here in Canberra and ended up in hot water because of concerns he was trying to take pictures of members coming and going from the station. 

 

There was also a new story recently - just spent 10 minutes looking but can't find it again - about a guy getting slapped with a fine for using his phone while driving because he took a photo of the VICPol Merecedes while stopped at lights or some such. Pretty hefty fine down there these days.

 

Might be easier/safer to google it up, there are heaps of pics.

Yep, because people have blueprints of police veichles lol. Probably just get a side view and trace that out...? Sorry I don't know anything about modeling.
