Is this normal?

Featured Replies

I dont think this belongs in the support thread cause I am not really asking for help and the mod seems to keep going but I noticed this in the error log and it is in there alot:

[4/27/2012 10:23:43 PM] [PULLOVER] Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Source: ScriptHookDotNet TargetSite: Void LeaveVehicle(GTA.Vehicle, Boolean)StackTrace: at GTA.value.Tasks.LeaveVehicle(Vehicle vehicle, Boolean CloseDoor)

at FirstResponse.LCPD.PullOver.eval_LCPDFR-0(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)

is it normal to have an error log full of that same type of error?

You have posted in the wrong section. This thread belongs in LCPDFR Support. Please read the stickys provided in that section before making a new topic about your issue.

I think your misunderstanding, I am not actually asking for support or help. I just happened to notice this in the log and I was jsut curious if it is something that the game jsut writes and everything is fine or if it should not be doing it then I will put a support request in the correct section. Just to clarifiy the mod is working just fine, I happened to be in the folder so I opened that log file and saw all those entries and was only wondering if it was something I should be concerned about.

If it's not broke, don't fix it. Proper computer programming should never return errors, but this isn't a commercial grade software we're dealing with here. It's a mod developed by a few dedicated semi-professional programmers in their spare time, who cannot test their work on several computer configurations. We're the guinea pigs, and these error logs can teach them what to change or improve for each new build. That's where we testers come in.

But going back to my original answer, if it's not actually interfering with your game play experience, don't worry about it.
