Large Pack of Stuff & Things

Featured Replies

Would anybody be willing to make a large pack of cool mods and plugins for LSPDFR? I don't really have a lot of time to search around and it would be much appreciated if I could access it all in one place.

Well you'd need to get permission from all the creators of the mods, and I doubt  people that spent countless hours coding and such for free would agree to not get the same amount of recognition/downloads.

You never know though, maybe someone like @Albo1125 can make a pack of all his most popular mods since hes made so many

To be honest, this is a bad idea for many reasons:

  1. You have no idea what you're installing. Some mods have lots of features and you should really get to know how to use them one at a time.
  2. Installing multiple mods at once severely dampens troubleshooting efforts. It's much more difficult to pinpoint errors when you've installed 37 plugins and 120 vehicles all at once.
  3. How can you leave reviews and feedback on mods that you haven't visited the download page of? Mod creators use these for feedback and suggestions.
  4. It messes with the download statistics, which help show that people are actually enjoying the mods... Why would you make a new mod if no-one wants it?!
  5. Someone could easily slip in a malicious .dll plugin. Not likely, but still possible and you'll have no idea because you haven't vetted the mods you're installing.

If you've got time to play GTA V. you've got time to do a little research and choose what to download onto your PC.

Yep.  Every couple weeks I'll sit down before I play and spend 45 minutes to an hour installing new mods (either car mods, plugins, etc).  I don't think that's too much to do and it really helps you understand how everything works so it's easier to troubleshoot.  I used to not know what carvariations were but now I do and I can easily troubleshoot them!
