[WIP] LSPDFR+, British Policing Script's International Sister Modification

Featured Replies

Every time that you issue a court summons or make an arrest report with computer+ (either way) create a court case and vary up the sentence and make a chance they won't be convicted. This would make the court much more realistic.

Made a great breakthrough: LSPDFR+'s Pursuit AI now keeps AI police units under proper control - until YOU attempt to box the suspect in!

In regards to the court system I had an idea of when you issue them a summons to appear in court, that maybe (at random) that person fails to show and it will appear on the court cases menu activating

5- I love the fact that i can send people to court with british police script, but that's work with minor crimes only, take this as a suggestion, would be possible to implement a system that make you choose wich offences the suspect commicted after arresting him? Example i stop a robbery and manage to arrest the suspect, i would like something that let me pick wich offences the robber has committed, in this case something like -armed robbery -resisting arrest (if that's the case) - shooting a police officer and so on, than send him to the court, i would love this but no idea how hard is this to do, the main reason behind this is that will make the court cases be compatible with pretty much every callouts without a real need of implementation since i'm the one choosing the offences.

I'd also love this feature.  I keep writing court-summons citations and feeling a little bummed out that the only charges that get pressed are the ones that the game imposes by default.

I'd set it so that if you write a citation, it would completely overwrite all pending charges against the individual, and writing a "new" citation for that individual automatically includes the previous citation (so you can keep the same charges and add new ones, or remove checkboxes to stay charges if you've made a mistake).  If you don't write a citation, the game's automatic citation remains in place.

I'd even go a step farther, with an ini setting: optionally, if you don't write a citation at all, turning over any prisoner will create a "court case" with the "charge" of "temporary detention" and the result "released without charge".  This forces you to do your paperwork for every case, so would/should be optional and disabled by default, but would be great for optimum realism, since it lets you bring people in without having to press charges if you don't want to, and/or without having to go through the annoyance of having to drag and throw them out of the cruiser before uncuffing them in a manner that smacks of abandoning them to die of exposure.  =)

Naturally, actually proving/hooking the various evidence would be difficult to say the least, but the game could "remember" the charges it would have applied automatically, even if they won't actually be applied, to determine the charges that are guaranteed to be prosecuted.  The remaining charges can be pressed on a 50/50 ratio at "maximum" liability (max fine), down to 90/10 ratio at "minimum" liability (0).  (Bonus points for allowing percentage chance of success to be configured for each.)

If this feature is introduced, it would be nice to introduce jailtime in the XML data (min number of months and max number of months)  -- obviously, with any sentence with possible jail time mandating a court summons rather than just a ticket.  Most charges are served concurrently in democratic countries, so the offence with the highest minimum and maximum number of months would determine the resulting jailtime, with the number of charges increasing the likelihood of a longer sentence.

Just to update everyone, when you file an arrest report on the lspdfr computer+ , it now makes a court case in lspdfr+. Should be pretty cool to see what happens to all the scumbags after every arrest!

What happens to them, it’s up to the judges. You can catch a judge who does his job like he must, as likely as you can catch a crooked shithead who could acquit a terrorist.

Love the mod. It would be nice to be able to change the keybinds for vehicle mirroring, follow me, ect on traffic stops. (for what ever reason the Q key as well as the keybind I picked on my ELS settings change my light stage) and I'd like to use the vehicle mirroring without my emergency lights turning off.

Crashes LSPDFR every time an NPC is asked to get out of a vehicle. My guess is LSPDFR 4.0 update incompatibility maybe.

I am really enjoying LSPDFR+. I am not a developer but would love to add some additional crimes to LSPDFR + that is not currently listed. How would I do that and is it possible for a person, with no modding experience, such as myself to achieve?

There is a github for the mod, now. You will need to understand C# and .Net for most mods (and version control and IDEs, obviously), but there it is.
