The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

GTA 5 - standalone police car limit?

I've been trying to add yet another standalone car in my game.  Currently I have around 10 or so.  When I add a new one and load the game, it crashes on the 'loading and populating game world screen.'  If I remove this car, game works fine.  I've tried two other standalone police vehicles, same issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this,

There's no limit other than what your hardware can endure. If it crashes on that step, that means you made a mistake in the carvariation or vehicles.meta files.

Alternatively, the search bar, an awesome feature of this website, could have answered your question :thumbsup:

This is not true. You have to edit the gameconfig.xml file to get more than about 20 add-on vehicles.

I'm pretty sure that most PCs would have memory issues if they reach 15+ add-ons cars anyway, so I didn't think about mentioning it, but thanks for correcting me :turned:

Uhh, I'm the only guy with 90 addon bikes, in total 1.5GB then?

In my experience it's only an issue with memory if you actually spawn a bunch of them at once. Just having the models available isn't a problem if you don't use them all simultaneously. I have probably 25+ addon models and rarely have game crashes. It depends on your PC specs though. I have 24 GB of RAM and 8 GB of VRAM; if you have lower specs you might not be able to spawn as many simultaneously. But just having them installed shouldn't be an issue.

4GB VRAM and 16GB RAM, of course, because their like 500,000 polys each, spawning about 30 of them will make the game crash.
