I have modded the "policet" slot with a met police van skin. I installed everything to the letter including the config lines. The van in it's self works fine. The issue I'm having is when LSPDFR loads up and you go on duty an error message come up saying ".ini error police transporter must have 5 doors." I have checked LSPDFR.ini and there is nothing in it. I have had a look at the config lines for the mod but I don't really know what i'm looking for.  When ever I arrest a suspect and press 8 for transport a police cruiser or police buffalo arrive. Can anyone help? How do you change what vehicle picks up prisoners?

You most likely forgot to change a specific line somewhere, I used many vans to replace the police transport and they all worked. Make sure to install everything correctly, and if it still doesn't work, try replacing ONLY the model, and not the vehicle lines.

In the Arrest Manager .ini file.

Just get the original lines back from the unedited GTA files and put them back in

Just to confirm what lines of code are we on about?

It's going to be Carvariations.meta, vehciles.meta and handling.meta

 

Right so where you installed these in your mods folder go to that location in the normal GTA files that you have not edited and just simply get the original vanilla code

Ok so ive done that but its still coming up with the same error message. I have changed the transport vehicles in arrest manager.ini to just the transport van. It is working in the sense that the transport van now comes to collect the prisoner but this annoying error message still keeps coming up when you go on duty

May be a bug i can see i have it as well with a fully installed van :/

Is there any way of fixing it?

I dont know i dont even know what causes it to happen

Ok thanks, I can live with that as longas the van arrives which it does now. Thanks for your help.One more issue hoiw do you edit which vehicle slot a mod goes to. IE I have installed a traffic car which goes to police cruiser but I want to change to the state crusier. And how do you change which vehicle the armed police come in cos atm they come in the van lol

And if you want to change who responds in what vehicle, edit the backup.xml file.
