im wondering, can you able to replace any police vehicle in Openiv with a downloaded car, if it say replaces police2, can you replace police 1 instead, replace both police 1,2 and 3 with this specific vehicle you downloaded  ?

Ive already replaced police3 with the police peel p50, Now, Ive decided i would like to replace police 1 and 2 also, so that they LSPD station only drives these Peel p 50s. is that possible ??

i do want to keep the transport vehicles though, so they are still used to pick up the suspects of course, i believe it is configurable in Albos Mod Arrest Manager to say  what car is used for pickup suspects

It is possible, however you'll most likely need to change the handling files for the other slots. If the car you downloaded was for say, police3, and it has a handling.meta file (or lines to add/replace your handling file), you'd need to replace them for police &/or police2.

Darkmyre is right. You may also need to change the carvariation file as well.

It is possible to have the Peel P50s spawn in more regularly instead of having to replace each police model with the same car. It involves editing popgroups and dispatch files.

You can also use plugins like CustomBackup and the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction script to have even more control on what car spawns and where. I have multiple agencies apart from the LSPD, LSSD, SAHP, and BCSO spawn in my game, like the Rockford Hills and Del Perro PDs.
