LSPD:FR 0.31 & Scripts Folder

Hello,

Hoping someone can help with this one.

For reasons unknown, my game has decided I can not have a scripts folder and run LSPD:FR at the same time. I can go on duty and function however, as soon as I try and enter the garage to source a vehicle or spawn one via the trainer LSSPD:FR crashes. I can survive without the Map Editor however, it is beneficial as I have created several custom maps I use in game.

Any clues as to what has caused this?

I have tried:

Reinstalling LSPD:FR and Rage.Hook
Removing and re adding the scripts folder

PC Specs are well above average and run the game fine. It has worked perfectly up until now. I just can't fathom whats caused it.

Honestly i can not see why this is crashing it is due to Rage.Vehicle being invalid but the last i heard of this was when there was a conflict with Arrest Manager i believe it was and MoreControlV but this does not look like it on yours very interesting.

last I remember, and if I am following the folder names, the nativeui needs to be in the root folder (same the folder with the exe), it doesnt look like it is, there is one in scripts for map editor and I have one in root folder as well...  have you tried @Albo1125 's troubleshooter? it will tell you if something is wrong and you can then fix it, or let it do the fixing for you.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MODS..THEY'RE CALLED READMEs   AKA read me for a reason

lspdfr plugin or GTA V crashed? find your Rage log in your gta folder, usually found after ragepluginhook.exe and open it, hit Ctrl a, open pastebin.com, select new paste, hit Ctrl v, get the link after you pasted it and supply that with your issue in the specific mod topic, it helps the developer diagnose the problem you may have.

Nativeui in the scripts folder is required to run map editor.

Unless you have a plugin that uses a menu you don't really need ragenativeui in the main directory, but it wouldn't hurt to add ragenativeui.dll to your main directory.

You do appear to have 2 LMS.Common.dll files. One in your main directory and one in your plugins folder. As far as I am aware, this should be in your main directory, so try removing the one from the plugins folder.

Have you any modded cars in your mods folder?

He already has ragenativeui in his root, you could always try disabling online vehicles in the rage setting just see if that helps

He does indeed. I'm on my tablet at the moment and my eyesight isn't what it used to be.

Modded car perhaps or a conflict with vehiclelist.ini in the scripts folder?

Either way, I don't think it is an actual problem with lspdfr.

I possibly think it could be a modded vehicle

I don't have any modded vehicles. I'm a firm believer in running the mod with whats provided. Moded vehicles usually just screw it up.

Have you tried removing Map Editor altogether?

Like I said in a previous post, could be the vehiclelist.ini that is in your scripts folder. I take it, that is part of the map editor mod? There is a conflict on vehicle spawning, is it any vehicle or just a certain model when you enter the police garage? If map editor is running, I presume the objects, peds and vehicle ini's are active. I don't know, because I don't use map editor. Try adding police3 to the vehiclelist.ini list and at the garage try spawning the interceptor.

I'm probably way off, it's pretty much guess work.
