The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDFR simply does not work - please help

Featured Replies

So I spent about 3 hours today watching videos on how to properly install LSPDFR.

1.I installed the newest version of LSPDFR

2.I installed the newest version of RagePluginHook

3.I ran the game through RagePluginHook - making sure all plugins load when I press "Save and Launch"

So then the RagePluginHook logo comes up and the game starts to load normally [ No RPH loading screen ] ,when the game starts, pressing F4 does nothing and there are no shield symbols on the map.

I have the newest version of everything including GTA V,everything is installed in a copy of the GTA V directory folder.

There is no reason why the mod should not work - I have NO other mods installed.

System Specs : i5-4460,8GB ram,GTX 980

I had given up so I cannot give you a RPH.log as there would be no information but a screenshot of my directory is included.

Any help in making it work would be highly appreciated :)

That's your problem. Rename the original GTA5 folder to something like "Grand Theft Auto V.Original"

Then rename the copied folder to "Grand Theft Auto V". The folder name always has to match up with the original installation folder or RPH will not work correctly.

Sorry I made that sound wrong - My original directory called "Grand Theft Auto V" is where I installed the mods,my mod-free directory is called "Grand Theft Auto V MP"

Well the problem you're describing usually happens when you copy the folder and try to launch from there.

Try some or all of the below options:

No signs of RAGE Plugin Hook being loaded
If RAGE Plugin Hook successfully loads, a welcome message will be displayed once the game has finished loading.
If RAGE Plugin Hook does not load, try running it as administrator (Right click RAGEPluginHook.exe and click "Run as Administrator").
If it still doesn't load, try disabling your anti-virus.
Check RagePluginHook.log for errors that may indicate the problem.

So I disabled my AntiVirus and ran RPH in Administrator mode - the same things happened,

1.RPH logo,then game launches

2.When I click story mode there is no floaty RPH loading as there should be

3.Game loads normally as if there were no mods installed.

I think there is a problem with RPH as there is no RagePluginHook.log in the game directory.

I will add screenshots of my RPH settings.

@ThatIrishGamerHD

Does it prompt you to unblock files every time? Assuming you're unblocking them.

Also you want to check the "Disable countermeasures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer" under advanced. It causes several problems.

One other thing I've seen works for some people, disable the in-game steam overlay.

It only prompts me to unblock them the first time.

After checking "Disable countermeasures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer" ,everything is the same. :(

also I don't know if it matters but I don't have ScriptHook installed.

Try disabling the in-game steam overlay. Also even though it didn't seem to fix the problem, always launch as administrator.  You can also click that box there that says "Restart with logging", might give us a clue.

Turning off the steam overlay didn't change anything

I attached the RPHL.log file

Unfortunately that is a pretty shitty log output, doesn't really tell me anything.

Try running this tool to see if it finds any problems:

So I ran the program. It found the program in the screenshot and I pressed Auto fix - however the problem still remains

I don't think this mod wants me to play it xD

There is something I'm overlooking, but I'm not sure what it is. Maybe my pal @Kal74 might have an idea.

I can see you're running either Windows 8.1 or 10, but not sure which. I'd start asking about requirements like .NET framework but Albo's troubleshooter shoulda found those. Unfortunately, I have failed you thus far.

I updated my Framework to 4.6.1 so thats fine - I'm using Windows 8.1

Installing script hook didn't change anything.

I'm out of ideas though without you i would have given up hours ago so don't beat yourself up :P

Shot in the dark, but for testing purposes do me a favor and go back to the RagePluginHook Config Console and go the Advance Settings Tab, put a check in the box next to Disable DirectX Hook, click Save and Launch and see if anything changes..

Didn't do anything.

It's like nothing does anything,as if the game was being launched from the non-modded backup.

Okay, lets try this....

1.Create a new folder on your Desktop (call it whatever you want)

2. Re-download the manual version of LSPDFR 0.3.1. Do not unzip the file yet. Instead Put the zipped file into the empty folder you created on your Desktop,

3. Right click the zipped file, select properties and click on Unblock on the lower right.

4. Right click the zip file again and select Extract Here..

5. Put the Desktop Folder and your GTAV Folder side by side and drag all of the files except for the( "Licenses and SDK" Folders if they exist ) into the Main GTAV Directory and allow it to overwrite existing files..

Again Create a new folder on your Desktop(call it whatever you want) and Re-download RPH 0.37 and do the same exact 5 steps as above..

Relaunch as administrator and see if anything changes..
