Hello LSPDFR Community,

I have just finished making my first model on GTA V and it won't let me export. 

Console Says: Missing requried texture in "SPECMAP" on material "emergdef".
                        Can not obtain Shader material from "vehicle_generic_detail2 mesh". file:RageExportMaterial.cpp line:110

Before you ask, I have imported all the textures that are required for the parts such as the light bar, antennas and ALPR system. Every texture it there. I looked through all of them in the texture browser in ZM and none are corrupted so I'm not sure what is going on. I spent hours making this and I don't want it to go to waste :

Any help would be appreciated as I'm very new to modeling and everyone starts somewhere right?

Did it export to your desktop? Or will it just not export? Sometimes i've noticed that it will say that but still export with the files and such.

It DOES export but the file shows that it's 0 KB and when I put it in Open IV it doesn't open because it's empty.

Are you able to Take screenshots of emrgdef and the error?

I meant as in the Mat. Editor so I can see how it is assigned.

Okay, I am hoping I can offer some type of help, I dont have Zmod 3 Anymore, got the trial, but just didn't have funds to keep going with it. But I will try to help as much as I can.

I have been using Zmod 2. I dont do any work for 5 as, I dont have the funds to keep Zmod 3, nor do I have the game, I had Zmod 3 to mess around and see what I could do, if it supported GTA IV, I would use it and if I had money. But I do what I can and still do GTA IV

I hate using Zmodeler 2. The only use I have for it is to export IV files lol

LOL. If I had Zmod 3, and If I can do stuff with GTA IV in it. I would probably like it more. Or if I had money I would be willing to try it, just dont have money or anything :(

Yo man! Zmod 3 is a pain to buy every month. $5 for a month. or $75 I think for 12. well what ever. there is a free version out there.

The free version wont allow you to improt or export, you have to buy the plan on a account. Cant do it like you used to with Zmod 2

You were exporting it with the wrong name i'm guessing? : )
