okay, so I deleted my modded GTA and reinstalled straight from steam, but I still cannot get online. when I pause and goto online, it says I have to log into social club, but it already shows me logged in and the only thing that comes up in the social club menu-popup thing, is the twitter feed.

I cannot figure out how to get this working right. even when story mode is loading it says it signs me in, but it says "[offline]" next to my name. I have tried everything, deleting social club from my pc, deleting the files, ect.... nothing has worked. Even when I goto the Social club website, it doesn't look like its tracking my game progress in story mode, it only shows my 3% complete and I'm much further then that.

If it is a steam game just go to your steam library, click play on gta 5, then select GTA Online then play.

Open the game (no ragehook) on the main menu there is a button next to story mode that says online, just click that.
