  1. ive followed youtube videos and I cant get them to work how do I know which files to replace on police cars that have multiple skin files on them? i deleted them all and just replaced it with the new skin, and all i get is a black car in game, if i leave the stock skins in the file, it just spawns them
  2. can anyone tell me how to install new textures on modded cars? I cant figure it out and all the ones ive downloaded don't come with instructions on what to do with the files
  3. okay, so I deleted my modded GTA and reinstalled straight from steam, but I still cannot get online. when I pause and goto online, it says I have to log into social club, but it already shows me logged in and the only thing that comes up in the social club menu-popup thing, is the twitter feed. I cannot figure out how to get this working right. even when story mode is loading it says it signs me in, but it says "[offline]" next to my name. I have tried everything, deleting social club from my pc, deleting the files, ect.... nothing has worked. Even when I goto the Social club website, it doesn't look like its tracking my game progress in story mode, it only shows my 3% complete and I'm much further then that. Any ideas? thanks
  4. I guess my only option is to just copy the "clean" GTAV folder into the steam directory everytime I wanna play online. no big deal
  5. that only helps me with mods installed though openiv correct? not things directly placed in the GTA steam folder dammit
  6. is it possible for me to have two Steam versions of GTA that are playable on my PC? id like to have my modded GTA and then have another GTA I can launch to play online? I have an unmodded GTA file, but it takes some time to copy the files into the steam directory folder. just wondering if this is possible? maybe have one copy on one drive and another on the other, I just don't see how to have steam on both drives thank you
  7. I cant wait for it to release. I played the alpha and closed beta on xbox one and really liked it. Recently i built my first gaming pc, and played the open beta. i had no issues at all and the game ran smooth for me. Luckly for me, my 980ti included a free copy of the game. I'm very excited for the release if anyone wants to play, my steam name is evojoe331
  8. the gpu drops would be random, didn't really seem to be specific to any time of day or situation going on around me. I run the game at fairly high settings (I don't know every setting off the top of my head) in 2560x1440p @ anywhere between 80-100+ fps depending on what's going on in game. when the gpu is at 98-99%, I have no issues. its just the gpu usage percent will randomly drop for no reason, then return to normal after a few seconds I am using Windows 10 OS. I make sure no backround programs are running before I launch the game also
  9. sorry forgot PSU its a EVGA Supernova 850G2
  10. while playing LSPDFR tonight I was monitoring my computer and I notice as I play the GPU usage will randomly drop to around 40% from 98%-99%..... why is this happening? temps are fine @~60C for GPU and ~45C CPU and everything looks to be fine, it just randomly drops. I can usually play this game with no problems at about 100 FPS, but it will drop to about 30-40 when the GPU usage drops. I already tried deleting my graphics driver and doing a "clean" install. I have no idea where to go from here. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you my setup- i7-5820k @3.3ghz Asus STRIX 980ti 16gb quad channel ram
