@turbofandude I seem to be having the same problem as Cros, but I'm not sure what you mean by Realtek (which I have installed) causes the problem. How would I get around it? Neither of these are an option currently - you should use Arrest Manager. :)

I'm taking an educated guess with that - I haven't actually had that problem myself, so it's hard to tell lol. If you close/disable any of the Realtek stuff from the system tray, does it help? Does it have any audio processing/filtering/EQ stuff in it? This error seems to happen when the audio system can't handle everything it's being asked to do.

I went and uninstalled Realtek and my mic was working fine, I set it up with Windows Speech Recognition and everything, no problems. I go in game and it still isn't responding to anything. Afterwards, I went to the troubleshooter for WSR and it told me my headset wasn't plugged in, so I'm really lost now lol

It definitely seems like something is up with the audio, for sure. Are there any other ports/devices you can try?

Not at the moment, the front ports on my PC are busted and I don't really have the finances to buy a new mic, lol, I'll have to wait until then I suppose :/

Not a problem! I wish I could do a little better than spitballing, but it's super hard to nail something like that down, especially when I can't recreate it.

That's not indicating any problems and nothing jumps out at me. Perhaps a TeamViewer session would be best? If you message me directly, we can go from there.

My game closes to desktop and gets stuck on the rage pop up saying loading modules (right before it created the .log file) sometimes it works but wont recognize my voice, then it'll crash as stated before any help? Not sure how i can provide a lof with the other issue i stated. I really want to try this out

Do you see any exceptions/error messages in the RPH log when it crashes?

Just tried it again it didnt close to desktop when i pressed up on the dpad it played the tone signifying it was listening then i said "dispatch we have shots fired" nothing happened and i got a pop up saying speech not recognize repeat (or something along those lines)

Going to bed I hope you are able to figure something out i'm really anticipating this mod. Get some rest yourself! goodnight

That COM Exception seems to pop up at random. Do you happen to have any additional audio services running (Realtek HD Audio Manager, etc.)?

Yes i do, and nahimi 2 that comes pre installed on my msi gt72 6qe

If you disable that, does it work?

Is it possible that at some point we can use our headsets for the vocal dispatch? I ask this because I am having hardware issues where my computer does not show my default microphone (and also my webcam) so my headset is the best I can do.

Hello mate!

I set up Vocal Dispatch as instructed. However, I am not able to use it ingame. In fact it won't even load correctly. Trying to move it to Plugins only and not Plugins/LSPDFR and loading it manually results in an error! "Wrong parameters".

 

Something wrong with the files or something I did wrong?
