  • This isnt technically true from what I have experienced David but seems pretty much there. I can run vanilla GTAV, LSPDFR, callouts and most importantly EUP installed in the 'mods' folder. The second

This is happening to me too. I installed a fresh directory and put in LSPDFR 0.3 and RPH 37 only, and it crashes after 30-40 seconds of loading, the bit where it says 'Loading story mode with Rage Plugin Hook'.

I have had this happening since I made the careless mistake of upgrading and somehow managed to lose my previous version so I cant roll back. From what I can work out slowly re-installing things so far it looks like the issue is coming after having used OpenIV. I have just managed to install Rage Plugin Hook and LSPDFR on their own and the game starts. Now with a backup so at least I know I have a working game somewhere I will install OpenIV again and let you know what happens. But at the moment my best guess would be to try and use a fresh install and make this the last thing you add, so no new cars just yet.

*Okay after retesting as soon as I have installed the file through OpenIV that allows the game to open modified .rpf files and so basically let us mod in new cars etc the game crashes, looks like i'll be waiting on a new version of OpenIV to fix this problem... but on the flip side if you are happy to play a game with everything vanilla other than LSPDFR and callouts then its playable.

More Testing

I've done some research, it seems there is a fix for this common issue, however it doesn't work for everyone. Open the settings for Rage Plugin Hook and go to Advanced Settings, then tick "Disable countermeasures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer".

So basically openiv is causing the issue and we have to wait until they update and fix it?

Until then no one can play. If you want to really help go on twitter and go to Ragehook plugin and try helping them with your questions or your log.

Can you provide me a link?

Ok i am not sure but did you try  "Disable counter measures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer"

that is weird because i was also having problems with crashing on start up with the new rage but after i went into openiv and updated ..update rpf and the update rpf in my mods folder also in openiv i have not had a problem yet , i guess im one of the lucky ones

Ok i took a look at the RPH crash report and with my small knowledge and what people are saying the problem looks to be the new OpenIV and the RPH updates. Thats what I think.
