Code 8!

It's an indie film, so no, I haven't seen it. On another note, did you notice the interesting coincidences or Easter Eggs (depending on how you look at it) on their website and the film name itself?

1.) Code 8 means bathroom break. Not kidding you: http://www.radiolabs.com/police-codes.html

2.) Check out the department name and font on the car door in the top right:

I noticed somebody donated $10,000 to have their name near the top of the credits with the role of "Co-Executive Producer", yet nobody has claimed "Executive Producer" yet for $25,000 or $50,000. Must be nice to have that kind of money to burn.

A black-n-white LCPD is a no-no, I'm serious.

On a separate note I'm curious if they may have any copyright infringement trouble.

There are tons of black and white LCPD cruisers on this website alone. I have a couple I uploaded myself, as I dislike the NYPD style paint job. Also, LCPD as an acronym can mean anything, I doubt this movie will take place in "Liberty City", so I think they'll be safe. I just thought it was interesting since the acronym is the same, and the font is pretty similar to the style used for the LCPDFR logo.

Your absolutely right! The city it takes place is in Lincoln City...As it says in the very beginning of the short film :p Which means the acronym is LCPD. I'm not sure why people are upset by that acronym. But personally I think this movie looks interesting. I wish them the best of luck!
