Hello everybody.

I am hanging around this site for a while now. I have LSPDFR 0.3 running with several plugins and bunch of vehicles.

It all runs like a charm and I love it. I feel that I pretty much know what I am doing and have a good overwiev. Whenever I messed up my game, I was able to get everything working again in a few minutes.

 

But there are some thing that I just dont really understand and I have trouble finding some tutorials or so.

1. I totally dont get, why some cars go into "patchday4ng" and others go into "patchday5ng" for example. I think I installed a modded police3 into patchday4 once, and when I was going to install another police3 the included readme file said to put it into patchday3....since it worked before with patchday4, I used this one again and it worked....but I think I dont really understand.

 

2. vehicles.meta and carvariations ... When to use which ? what exactly do they ? there are also several copies on different locations of them I think I saw....why ?

 

 

Thanks to everybody who likes to help. If there are good sites to look this all up I would also be happy.

1. Its usually based on when said mod was released, or what works for the creator. If it works then replace it where you have.

2. These tell the game needed info about the car. These only have to be installed if the readme tells you to. Also, if you have already replaced the vehicles.meta for any additional mods you'll have to add that stuff manually.
