Do you have any car mods installed or other file mods in mods folder or rpf files?

Yes I do have a couple of car mods, only two of them are working though. I have the train, weather, and some others working.

And I tried applying a Glock 17 which doesnt work either.

Yes. I first applied in the mods folder, but the mods didnt work, so I put some of them in my root directory.

Oh, that makes it more difficult, can you Verify Integrity of Game Cache through steam and remove OpenIV.asi?

The game launches fine now, but without LSPDFR.

OpenIV.asi has nothing to do with LSPDFR. Now if you removed dinput8.dll as well, 0.3 requires that for an .ASI it uses.

I re-installed open.IV. Launched the game through ragehook, but it doesnt launch LSPDFR.

I then added the openiv.asi file, launched through Ragehook again and the game just crashes instantly like before.

Do I want to remove dinpu8.dll?

Did this just start happening after you updated to version 617 (or whatever the new build number is) of GTA V?

If so, you'll have to re-install the mods that go in the mods/update/update.rpf file. Rockstar changes that file with each update, and if you don't re-copy it from update/ into mods/update/, (and then reinstall the mods that were in it), you will get a crash on startup. And that will happen if you start up GTA V normally, or with RPH.

Notice how it started up fine when you removed OpenIV.asi? That bypassed your mods folder, and its loading the NEW update.rpf archive.

Nope, absolutely don't remove that. It's required for 0.3

Do you have LSPDFR in your startup plugins? If not, you need to add it, or loadplugin it manually via RPH console in game "loadplugin LSPD First Response.dll".

I removed openIV.asi and dinpu8.dll - I am now albe to load the LSPDFR Plugin through the ragehook command. I actually think the mod/s work now.

But yes I started having problems after the new build and ragehook update.

You probably need to ditch your update.rpf in the mods folder and recreate it from scratch.

I don't know how you're running LSPDFR 0.3 without dinput8.dll though, as it is packaged with 0.3 along with AdvancedHookV.asi and I'm pretty sure those are important ;)

Yeah I just think I have to bypass the mods folder.

I have no idea either lol, but it works fine..

Glad its working for you now.

But like @Kilyin said, you'll have to rebuild that modded update.rpf file. You'll have to find out which mods you installed in there. For example, I know sound mods like sirens go in there. I believe some of the .meta files for vehicle mods go in there as well.

Once you do that, you can put the OpenIV.asi file back, and keep using your car mods.

My guess is it's used for the downtown police station and/or something new with 0.3, so you probably want to put it back... worst case drag it from the LSPDFR 0.3 archive back into your main GTA5 folder or you're probably gonna run into some weird shit down the line.
