When you went to https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=48145  and clicked download, did you download both files it offers you or just one?

i downloaded the 64 bit version , and it was already on my computer, all of that stuff already was.... i have been asked 15 times if i have installed those things

this is how it stands atm, i have not done anything with the files, i have just made an copy and renamed it

Well, I asked you if you had downloaded one or both... I read you should download both the 64 and 86 and run both. You only did the 64.

As for your new screen shot, I am assuming you did that so you can play online with the other version.

One other thing we can check, right click the rph.exe , properties, security tab.  Screen shot that.

That means that having a different name than "Grand Theft Auto V" is indeed causing issues?

I am asking because I haven't touched Online for months so I didn't feel the need to have a separate install but I might check the new stuffs and that would be nice to know how I should handle that.

Where we're going, we don't need signatures.

i still cant launch the mod... even tho i renamed the files and stuff

Do all 5 of those users have full control checked?

@dlm3 your other post had it right.   If running the modded version of the game, the folder must be called /grand theft auto v as that is where the games registry is set too.

If running from the /grand theft auto v lspd folder, the game will not work.

yes they do

All I can say is, follow the link Kal74 listed above, follow those directions to make a log, then post it here in a spoiler tag and maybe Kal74 can pass on the information.

The register option there indeed is not generating a security image.

Don't know what to say, maybe @kal74 can help you out more.   When you right click rph.exe, properties, shortcut tab, the start in area is pointing to the right directory?
