Need Help with IVDashCam 2.2

Featured Replies

so i am using lcpdfr rc2 and want to try out ivdashcam 2.2. i downloaded the .exe and went through the set up wizard. i checked my gta folder and dashcam 2.2 was downloaded in my scripts folder but when i get into the game and hit alt+d..nothing happens. i tried manually installing it as well but had no luck. the only other mods i am using besides ldpdfr rc2 and dashcam 2.2. are els mod and a trainer. dont know if they are messing with it or not. any support would be greatly appreciated.

look in your GTAIV -> scripts folder is ivdashcam there?

yes it is there. but for some reason it wont work in game. i tried installing a later version of the mod (v2) and i got that to work. i dont know why v2.2 wont work.

For some reason, the installer likes to create a "Grand Theft Auto IV" folder in the place you direct it to.

I installed Dashcam for EFLC and had the same issue of it not working ingame. I later found out that the installer created the above folder inside my scripts folder, all I had to do was move the contents inside it to my scripts folder and then delete the empty one.

The only other way to stop it doing that is for Sniper to take a look at it I'm guessing

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

wait...are you running the online bought version or the store bought CD version, this matters as certain things are in certain places

To everyone having the exe issue, are you all using Steam?

I get an error when in game, error loading ivdashcamv2.core or something like that well I give up lol

Can you post your ScriptHookDotNet.log and IVDashCam.log if it exists.

You are using the WRONG right theme!

I'm using a retail copy of the game, disc copy.

All the installer does is add a extra file to the scripts folder like so:

common

pc

scripts

- LCPDFR

- Grand Theft Auto IV

- IVDashcam

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake
