I have read many topics and how to install this and i think i have a good idea of what i need to do. I run it by Admin and when it begins to install i get this:

"Installation component 'LCPDFRModels' error'd!

at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)

at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite)

at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName)

at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.tazershit.beginComponent()

at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)

at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)"

The only thing i can think of is my files in GTA4 are set to read only. When ever Uncheck the box, click apply then okay, i go to check it again and the box says ready only again.

(That is my only problem right or is there more?) Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

did you try to change the read only in the control pannel

please use the search feature on the site before posting, this issue has been solved many times before.

1. Make sure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the COMMON/DATA folder.
   
2. Also ensure you are running the installer as a administrator

You have posted in the wrong section, please post any support requests in the LCPFR support section, remember to read the stickies and follow the troubleshooter when you attempt to create a new thread, you will be allowed to post a new thread if the troubleshooter cannot solve your issue.
