LSPDFR - Police Mod Issues and lighting

Featured Replies

Hello guys. Today i got two issues i would like to get some help with!

My first problem. I have recently installed Police Mod for my GTA 5 LSPDFR. The issues i got with it, when i open the radio on my button ''C'' it makes it kinda ''shit graphic'' or like it shimmers in the road, sky and every where. But when i press c again, it goes away?

My second problem. I have installed better lighting mod for gta 5 which makes the lighting look more realistic and better. My issue is, when it gets dark, the light that indicate you to either turn left or right, just keeps being on so orange light on boths sides (NOT FLASHING - JUST BEING ON)

Its not a big issue, it just makes my gameplay better if it could been fixed! :)

Much love to everyone and have nice weekend! :)

Note: I fixed the Police Radar, works fine now!

Now i just got problems with the turn indicator light thingy.

You may want to list how you fixed your Police Radio issue in case somebody else comes across this with the same thing, but they see no solution for how you fixed it.

The turn indicators being on was likely intended by default with the mod, to turn them off you'll likely need to go into your visualsettings.dat from update.rpf\common\data\ and open it in Notepad/Notepad++, then change the following:

Change car.indicator.day.emissive.on to 10.00

Change car.indicator.night.emissive.on to 10.00

Change car.indicator.day.emissive.off to 0.003

Change car.indicator.night.emissive.off to 0.003

Make a backup before doing this as well.

You need to go into the OpenIV program and open up the update.rpf in \GTA V\update\ then in that update.rpf go into \common\data\ then drag the visualsettings.dat onto your desktop or wherever you prefer and open it with Notepad (Or Notepad++ if you have it) because OpenIV doesn't let you edit it natively as far as I know, then search for and change the aforementioned values, then enable Edit Mode in OpenIV and drag the visualsettings.dat back into the update.rpf

I got one last question. When you pull people over, you get the option to make them get a new place to pull over by using the horn, but I've seen that you can press T or something like that and then they follow you to a position? How does that work, if u know !:)

That's another mod. Don't remember what it's called though.

The mod is "Traffic Policer". You press "T" in front of them and they follow you until you hold "T" again.

Standard configuration in the Traffic Policer Mod to make them follow you is "Left Ctrl + T", not only "T".
