Modded cars don't shows ingame.

Featured Replies

Hi!

When i try to mod in a new police car and i follow the readme, i replace the files in OpenIV with a mod folder and everything. But when i go ingame the default car model shows.

The files that i can replace is all the Police (1), fbi (1), police4, and the parkranger. All the other files dosen't change ingame even if i replace them in the correct folder as stated in the readme in OpenIV.

The cars i tried with is:

If you're using the mods folder with OpenIV be sure you have also installed the asi loader and the OpenIV.asi plugins. (You can do this through OpenIV itself, just look up how to use the mods folder).

Also be sure that you haven't just created folders inside the mods folder. The mods folder needs to be an exact copy of the GTA files, so if your mod goes inside Update.rpf, your mods folder should have update.rpf inside it, not a folder called update.

I'm also moving this thread to GTA V support, as it's not a development tutorial or question.
