How can I install new vehicle skins to GTA V?  I downloaded a skin, and it said to place it in a folder which I do not see.  Do I have to install OpenIV?

Thanks.  I installed a car and it said to edit some lines in the carvariations.meta.  I ran OpenIV as an administartor and selected edit mode, and I still cannot type anything.

I think you can't use OpenIV to open the text files. You have to extract the file you wanted to edit first (in your case, carvariations.meta), open it with anything that edits text (I recommend Notepad++, but the default Windows editor works as well), save, and then import the file again using OpenIV.

I edited it.  How can I import it?

By enabling the edit mode and right clicking the original file. Then hit replace. You can also just use the Add button.
