So ive played LCPDFR for years and now i want to get GTA V so i can play LSPDFR and i heard that car mods can get you banned. Is this true, and how can i avoid getting banned?

Using them in GTA Online may get you banned. Use of them in Singleplayer should be fine.

Just to add on to this pretty much any mod will get you banned if you use it online because the game scans your files to check for ones that shouldn't be there so Id just stick to singleplayer modding if I were you.

Don't use them online. Rockstar stated that they will not ban somebody for using single player mods. They want to keep online mod free. Which I guess I understand!
