Ok... So one country, my bad.  Though you don't seem so sure about it so dont be so quick to tell someone they are wrong ehm

As far as I know, Germany, Netherlands and France use this sign, I think it's way safer since pulling up on the side of a highway is really risky...

On a serious note. Anything going on or possible of alleyway chases? All the suspects seem to stick on the main roads. Not as much fun when they're on a linear path.

The last time I heard the term "cautious cops", a Noose van slammed into the back of my cruiser.. ;)

  • I can assure you that both Sam and LMS spend an unhealthy amount of time on this free modification to ensure it is as close to perfect as possible for you, the end user. Relax.

This looks like it'll add a little something but all I want to know is will 3 maybe stop the AI from pitting me on every pursuit unless I go to the shoulder and out of their way. I know if you use a bike cop it keeps them in line but I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me what exactly does "cautious cops" mean? Are they going to be more aware and not recklessly run into everything and everyone? (especially me while I'm trying to call for a coroner!)  I was just hoping for a little more detail. Thanks to anyone who can answer

I asked something similar to this over on page 1, If you go over there, you can read the response to it.. My question was a bit more vague, not as detailed as yours, I actually like your details better than mine, but it was about the backup cops ramming my car in a pursuit..

I think my solution was to exact revenge on those cops ramming me off the road by means of sticky bombs!

Spain too, but only use the sign in the unmarked cars. I think the marked ones doesn't use that sign, just the directional lights.

HAHA it takes every bit of me not to do that or pull over to the side and pull out my grenade launcher haha! But it would be nice to get it if it were possible or at least get a pull over that wasn't still in the middle of the road!

Can LSPDFR team already add all of the callouts plugins in to new LSPDFR 0.3 mod  and also other plugins such police radio etc That would be really helpful. Thank you in advanced.

No. They're API plugins which we aren't interested in stealing. We love seeing what people can do with the API, really is no need to include them into LSPDFR as not everyone wants those features.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

I have an idea for a pursuit feature - maybe there could be a small chance that, during a pursuit, the suspect just gives up and pulls over? it would give a bit of variety to the usual 'drag the guy out of the car and beat his ass into the cuffs' pursuit endings.

True I agree with you.

I was saying that because not every knows how to load plugin in to the game correctly. People get a lot of crashes or LSPDFR mod just unplugs because plugins we not installed correctly.

That's why people should read the Readme file before they install things and not just download and extract to the GTAV Folder... Everything I have downloaded for LSPDFR has come with a file called ReadMe.. I have done dozens of installs and even-though I know what to do, I still read the Readme before I install.. I don't think we should cater to lazyness..

That is why I agree with ineseri when he said " not everyone wants those features " might be plugins or scripts people don't want... be kind of hard to keep all of that up to date as things are constantly updated with new features or changed.. and can you imagine how many bugs there would be.. Sounds like a nightmare to me.. That is just my opinion though.

I was just suggesting lol Personally I have zero problems installing Plugins into the game. I do understand your message Sir.

The way in which we get vehicles to pull over is perhaps something we'll take a look at.  Methods such as having the vehicle follow the player are great from a technological standpoint as it is very easy to accomplish.  Much harder to produce the same result (a properly parked vehicle in a suitable location) using other methods.

And it is actually quite common in some countries for police vehicles to direct cars they want to stop like this.  An increasing number of police cars are being fitted with electronic signage for this purpose which can be used to display messages to drivers behind them.  In some parts of the UK, this happens frequently.

I find using the following philosophy as a 'pull over' option is more than adequate -  if they don't stop - they simply don't live!

As above, the signage boards have been used for decades around Northern England, as many other regions.  Anyone rememeber the old Ford Capri 2.8i Specials with the giant don't drink and drive boards fitted to the sports fin? They included messages such as Pull Over, Accident and Try Me! well maybe not the latter but for many years police have used them. No doubt in how much joy this would bring to the table when introduced, maybe with an accompanying audio announcement type feature....

You should remap the siren key to "G" instead. It's what everyone else has done so far :)

Yep ineseri is right.  The only time where G might be a problem is if your typing.... it might pop your siren if you have a G in the name, I may be wrong.  I remapped the siren key to like my mouse4 button, so its all good
