Lspdfr Cars?

Featured Replies

I'm new so don't be hard on me please if I posted in wrong forum. Is there away to have more then one police car In-game? Ex: I want the Unmarked Dodge and the Unmarked Crown Vic but they both replace police4/Unmarked car. If there is a way to doing this could you leave a reply telling me (STEP-BY-STEP) that would be great. I hear you can do it that's never found out/videos on how. The cars picture is at the bottom. Thx for everyone who helped me :)

It's simple, rename the file. for example if it's a police.wtd file and you want it to be sheriff, just rename it to sheriff.wtd and it'll go into the sheriff slot.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I tried that awhile ago, didn't work for me.

It does work, but you need to know which files to replace. Use the vehicle.rpf inside:

- x64e for police, police4, policet

-dlcpacks/patchday3ng for police2, sheriff, sheriff2

-dlcpacks/patchday4ng for police3

I went through every one of them and changed the file names, I did one at a time but the default vehicle would load then I went and changed all of the files at the same time but still the default would load.

Like I said it was a while ago but I'm sure I was trying to put a "police" into a "police3"

You have to replace all the police3 files at once. Get a CVPI, rename the files from "police" to "police3" (keep _hi,+hi) and then replace police3 in dlcpacks\patchday4ng. I'm absolutely sure it works if you don't have that problem where the game downloads the original files every time you launch the game.

Yes maybe I should have worded it better lol what I mean by changing all the files at the same time is I went into every vehicle rpf and changed all the files that were related to police3 by adding the new edited files.

So for example I went into the dlc patchday3 and change the police files there, I went into 64e and changed the files there as well and so on but no matter what they would load up the default car. (note: the files and/or folders I mention here might not be the exact files, just using them as an example)

I don't have the problem with the game updating as I use a mod folder.

Does it work if you replace car files in x64e (eg. police, police4). Do you have this issue only with police3 or you can't replace any car?

I can replace a car if the file is for that slot, I just can't replace one if I change the name. I have changed a car before in the 64e.

Like I've got a Crown Vic for police, I've got a dodge for police2, unmarked dodge for police4 and I've got another Crown Vic for sheriff

In that case I can't think of any reason why it doesn't work for you. I don't think the car files contain information that links them to a certain vehicle position, but I may be wrong.
