LSPDFR Compatibility on other platforms!

Featured Replies

Hi!

I just wanted to know...

Is there absolutely any way at all to play LSPDFR on a console?

Surely there is some way to convert files, and make them compatible with console platforms.

For instance, couldn't you just download, install and move files that allow modding to take place and scripts to be edited, the game to be changed e.g RageHook, and then install LSPDFR?

Thanks on advance!

*insert dumb console meme here*

Nope, never going to happen. nor would the console be able to run lspdfr with good frames etc

For a start, the effort to port to other platforms is extreme. RagePluginHook, for example, uses a bunch of DirectX and Windows APIs, not to mention hardcoded memory addresses of PC binaries.

Doing reverse engineering work takes hours of debugging. It's simply not even possible to debug on a PS4 or Xbox One. The massive debugging effort required could simply not be achieved on a console.

Plus, why would we even bother? To support the small amount of users that hack their consoles? Realistically that's all it would ever support. Actually, as far as I'm aware, there's no way of even running unsigned code on the Xbox One or the PS4. We have no interest in this whatsoever.

Adding to this, there are alot more features on PC, how would you manage ELS, call for back up, accept calls, etc. It's on PC for a reason.

That's because it's developed in the way that Cyan described it. There's no problem to use a controller for LSPDFR, for your information.
