Multi-Vehicle Response

Featured Replies

So the new XML backup customization got me thinking of some new possibilities (and this may already be included, if so i apologize). It would be cool if you can set up general response assignments to your back up. For example, I need EMS guys really hurt, when I go click for ems response I get a paramedic fly car type vehicle to get on scene and start treating injured people, then already included in that assignment is an ambulance to come and transport. Or Lets say we call for SWAT backup, maybe ill have one heavy swat vehicle come but also in that assignment will be a logistics/command vehicle responding, or maybe your local swat sends one armored vehicle and one additional squad car but your noose swat sends 2 armored vehicles and an equiptment van for larger incidents. Much like how the fire service has assignments in real life, when you call for your second alarm assignment for example you will get x amount of engines x amount of ladders x amount of rescues. To clarify, you would only request backup from the menu once and have multiple vehicles respond based on your preset parameters for that backup slot.

On second thought, I think this is very much already planned and included in 0.3, my apologies, but its gonna be cool!
