Strange thing that i've never seen before, i booted the game up a few minutes ago but the sound cut's out completely but the live NYPD feed still run's, no crash, just keep's loading until i start up the task launcher and it say's GTAIV is not responding, anybody else have or had this issue?

It's only the In-game sound that cut's out during the start of loading.

I was reading in this post: that it could be a corrupt save game, anyone know how i can delete the save game without a reinstall? doesn't seem like it should take alot of work to delete it

Libraries> Documents> Rockstar Games> GTA IV> Savegames

You can erase and add the game saves in that folder. That directory is for Windows 7 but it should be similar for XP or whatever your using.

But there isn't even a save game folder in the directory :/

Are you using Xliveless or Dsound?

i'm using dsound

Saves should be in either:

Users[uSER NAME]AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

or

Users[uSER NAME]DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

the only list that is there is: video's

user music

benchmarks

backup music

doesn't make any sense
