Problem:  I go on duty and become the police officer as normal,  but some reason GTA V still thinks I'm playing as Micheal, I know this because in my story Micheal & Trevor are banned from the city at the moment.  So I cannot patrol the city as the henchmen always come after me.

Question:  Is there any way to have the game think Im using Franklin?

(Im pretty sure it does not matter who you go on duty with, it always thinks I'm Micheal? I could be wrong...)

Thanks in advance

I think the easiest route to take would be to simply get past that point in the story, or download a 100% savegame file. It'll make things much easier, and stopping at that point isn't what I would recommend.

In my experience, the game continues to think you are the character you went on duty with. For example, if I go on duty as Trevor, any Lost MC member I see wants to kill me. However, if I was using Franklin, they don't care. I'm not sure if this works with that part of the story line, though. You might just have to use a save that isn't during that part of the game.
