"lspdfr02b.zip is malcious..."

Featured Replies

When trying to download the .zip version of the 0.2b update for LSPDFR I get a message from Chrome saying that lspdfr02b.zip is malcious and Chrome has blocked it. Then the only option I have is to dismiss that message. How do I unblock it, or allow the download to finish? Not to familiar with computers and Chrome, etc, so please pardon me if there is a really simple fix.

Thanks in advance.

  1. Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings and find the "Privacy" section.
  4. Deselect the "Enable phishing and malware protection" checkbox. Note: When you turn off these warnings you also turn off other malware and phishing alerts.
Do not forget to re-enable it again after downloading the file.

You can always go to the download tab in the chrome menu and select finish download on the blocked file to unblock it without having to disable your malware protection settings in chrome.
