    Nothing beats the ergonomics of the newer model Glock 23, I've always used Glock 22s, But I love the compact design in the glock 23, So thus far it is my favorite pistol.

    my personal favorite is the G22 for the fact that its a glock so it withstands pretty much anything but also because its a .40 with a little less kick but almost as much power as the .45 i do like the 1911 as an off duty weapon but for on duty its G22 all the way

    I would have chosen the Mark 23 SOCOM if I could; I don't prefer any of the rest, and especially not the USP even if it is also made by HK. My second choice is the M1911A1.

    Handguns are unique in that what works for me doesn't for someone else. I've shot a lot of different makes/models and really don't like the DA/SA handguns, probably why I prefer the Glocks. If you have large hands I guess the Mark 23 SOCOM would work, but I've seen a lot of specops guys not even using them. To each their own....
