Yes, use SNT and open up the bodyguard/ped menu. Then select "Drive options" change it to the vehicle you wish for them to use. Then select "Spawn Attacking Ped/Car

Yeah, just what Tom H said. I think it's possible to control what vehicle they're in... I have never done that, I'm going to give it a shot now.

By the way, I loved that episode. I hope Sammy is okay, he was my favorite character ever since he started beat patrol. Sorry for the off-topic post, but I just had to share my love for the show.
