Police Bike

Featured Replies

Has anyone besides myself been using the police bike far more than they ever did with IV? I messed around with the bike on IV every now and then but I find myself using it more often than not with V.

The bike is unrivaled in traffic, especially in the city. I love loading it up in the desert and playing as a highway patrolman with it. I've also noticed I'm a lot more cautious when using it, following people and waiting to light them up until I feel it's safe so I won't end up as road kill. Intersections are twice as dangerous, and I always come to almost a complete stop to avoid being side swiped, something I do in the black and whites but it's never really a huge worry with them.

I'm curious what changed with it between IV and V, I'm not sure if it's the traffic density, or the map, or what, but I really enjoy using it now.

I definitely enjoy using the police bike in GTA V over using modded police bikes in IV, and will be even happier when we have new models to play with. The engine sounds nice, the motorcycle has its own sirens, and the handling is also much better. Plus there's an awesome uniform that goes with it.

The uniform is a big reason for me. Plus, the terrain itself works better: Bikes are a lot less cool in urban pursuit than on open roads. Combined with the V handling improvements, and the fact that SNT means I can avoid falling off my bike every six seconds (I'm kind of a terrible video game driver, although I can often handle my bike pretty well), much, much nicer.

Actually, that's another thing: I'm a bad driver in games, but the bike makes it way easier to not crash into stuff. I find it takes less care with a bike than a car.
