So with all the recent modding, it has been shown that everyone is moving over to LSPD:FR :( So basicly i was wondering how many of you plan to start with gta 4 for atleast a few months...

What do you mean? They've started with GTA IV in the first place.

In that case, most likely not due to the fact that GTAV is better optimized, and Ragehook allows for the LSPDFR team to hook mechanics from the game itself right into LSPDFR.

Considering GTA V is the superior game, feature, performance and optimizationwise; I'm pretty confident alot of people will move over.

And you can't really blame them, if your PC could barely run GTA IV, it will run GTA V fine. There's no reason to stay.

I experienced the opposite, really.

Still, I don't plan on returning to GTA IV.

Yeah i ment to say stay, but i just mean until vehicle models come out and until lspdfr advances

I plan on staying, I have both games but i just like GTA IV. I cant seem to run GTA V that well right now so I'm just going to stick with GTA IV.

not sure why people cant use both? I just switch between the two but gta iv has car mods and the default cars of gta v get boring after awhile and the fact that theres only one callout since all three are basically chases I just count it as one with different scenarios...it will take awhile before gta v reaches iv in terms of modding and advancement of lspdfr

I actually just reinstalled GTA IV just for some testing and it's surprisingly running better than it ever has before lol.  Enb installed (mid end version) with a few CVPI mods and getting 30fps no issues, not even crashing.

I was playing LCPDFR since 0.91 and i did love it, although it did feel a bit restrictive and Liberty City wasn't that interesting. V on the other hand feels more open and you can do a lot more.

The whole reason i got V was to play LSPDFR, and honestly. i'm glad i did. LSPDFR maybe in it's beta stage but even then it's better optimized and better than LCPDFR 1.1, everyone is switching over for a better experience, honestly apart from car mods.. there really isn't a need to return to IV.
