Does anyone know how to set the ELS lights so that when I press "J" the blues come on but not the reds and inorder to get the red on i have to press "K".

There's an option in the main ELS config file. I don't have ELS installed at the moment, but I know it's described in the user documentation.

Depending on which ELS cars you are using, it wouldn't be possible without proper mapping of ELS. Take example, DoubleDoppler's MET Pack. Press J once; lights are activated, press K; reds are activated.

All depends on the author. ELS works by quickly adding and removing lights on the car, and the are 9. The J key causes the script to activate about 2 or 3 in the first stage, and the authour could have made them red, blue, or amber. Talk to the author about it...
