ohk so i updated the patch and then i downloaded lcpdfr then i went to load it and i get a dsound.dll error and i get a fatal error where did i go wrong how do i fix it help ASAP

can someone please help ? gta iv was working normally then i installed lcpdfr and it wont open it says ; ' Exception EFCreate error in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5 ' it says someother stuff which i also dont understand . ** Any help is appreciated **
