Can't locate MSVCR110.DLL

Featured Replies

Hey,

Every time I go in game is says It can't find MSVCR110.dll. I check the diagnostic tool and also says it can't find it. Tried installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) but I already have it installed. I saw it says to do that on other topics with that problem but still nothing. Any suggestions?

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) is for MSVCR100.dll (which you do need), but what you are missing is this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

Make sure to choose x86.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) is for MSVCR100.dll (which you do need), but what you are missing is this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

Make sure to choose x86.

Depends on his OS, if he's running 64 bit windows he wants x64 C++ not x86, which would actually explain why it's not working now. (as how the dll files are compressed differs between versions of OS and Processor). My guess is that he could be calling on 64 bit dll files as he says he already has the 32 bit C++ redist. installed.

On windows 7, right click on 'Computer', click on 'Properties', under System you'll see System Type: There it will tell you if your computer is 32 bit or 64 bit.

If the computer is 64 bit, you want the x64 installation of C++, if the computer is 32 bit, you want the x86 installation.

edit: looking at the logfile I see it's calling on 32 bit files, but that could also be faulty configuration. I'd try installing the 64bit version anyways because it should let you install both without issues.

LCPDFR requires the 32 bit. It will not run if you only have the 64 bit ones installed. Having both installed shouldn't cause any problems, though.

U can load this missing file also from here http://fix4dll.com/msvcr100_dll . When I had that problem with dll file I just load it from that site and everything is working good for now.

except they can quite often contain viruses, but lets ignore that....

How about downloading it from the official source (Microsoft) that may have additional features needed for it to run, this time I don't believe there was any additional software for that this time, but typing into google 'MSVCR100.dll download' would make AV companies scream at you.

Willpv23 has the official download source above.
