Everything is installed properly and the patch has been properly applied

After completing the first mission I hit CTR+P and Nothing and ALT+P and nothing and different Variations of it

I purchased the Game (Gotta support the Creators)

System Specs

Windows XP 64 BIT SP2

Nvidia GeForce GTX 260

The game runs smoothly its just I cant go on Duty....Some help would be much appreciated

I will also state that I have gone through the proper checklist in installing patches and such and nothing is working for me

Yes that is the proper checklist that I followed and it hasn't worked for me...When i download Simple Native Trainer 6.4 it doesnt give me a file "Trainer.INI"

You obviously haven't followed the sticky properly. Where is the diagnostics log? Also the LCPDFR.log located in your gta directory.

Please read through the sticky again, but read it properly and ensure you do everything asked.

Yes, that is the best option as it ensures you are using the correct one. Reinstall LCPDFR ensuring that you are running the installer as a administrator and let me know how you get on.

If you are still experiencing problems after that, re-run the diagnostics tool. When it finishes, click "more info" and copy and paste the text displayed on screen, here.

• ensure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the commondata folder.

Don't you need windows xp service pack 3 to run gta 4?

Yes everything is working and it tells me Duty enforced or forced and starts me out with a baseball bat. It crashed on me after I hit 9 or p or something ill figure the rest out Thanks for your help I will learn the controls as I go along.

Nope, I was running it on SP1 at one point many moons ago.

Also if you are getting the message "Duty Forced", your pressing the wrong keys. make sure you are pressing ALT+P not CTRL+P

it allowed me a few times to go on duty "duty forced" shortly after the game crashed. Im reviewing some forums to fix the problem. Several times after i walked on the street after loading a game it crashed. I think there may be file missing or in the wrong place in my root folders

Now as soon as the game boots it just crashes

Post your diagnostics log from the g17 tool, as tom has been saying since earlier.

still crashes after a few minutes.....

one thing i will mention is the fact that I have a previous mod that was deleted from program list.....but I had weapons/car/horn mod such as police.wtf and such I have tried to remove them but i cant get them out of spark IV and i cant locate the original file
