I have recently been making new textures for the ambulances in the game and was wondering how to change the word "POLICE" on the side of the LSPD Interceptor. If anybody knows where this file is within the GTA V game files please let me know, thank you!

There is no way to make a good changed skin. The left side and right side will always be identical, and by "identical" I mean "if you put something on the front door on the left side (so if you're looking at the left of the car it's on the left side), then it'll be on the rear door on the right side (because again, if you're looking at the right of the car it's on your left side.)". So, you can make the side completely blank, or can replace POLICE with a word/design of your choice that looks good when spread across both doors the same way on each side of the car. I recommend learning to live with the livery; it's seriously not that bad a design, and plenty of real departments use exactly that kind of livery.

​yeah its not that bad but doesn't look very lapd...rockstar got lazy and seemed to of based the design off of this...pretty bland

​There is, but currently you can't have any advanced designs as each side is mirrored.
